Degrees Of Comparasion

COMPERATIVE DEGREE

Used for: Declare comparison that something more or less than others.

How to use:
1. Using the conjunctive "Than"

2. Adding  suffix "- er " the adjective that consists of one or two syllables ( eg : Short, Tall, etc. )
3. Add the next word " more " if the adjective is more than three terms or when compared are adverbs.


Example :
·        Rio is much Taller than Lely.
·        Notebook is more expensive than personal computers.
·        Mary finished the test more quicky than jack.

SUPERATIVE DEGREE

Used for: To say the least "ter -" of everything else became comparison.

How to use:

1. Adding the definite article "the" in front of adjectives or adverbs in front.
2. Adding suffix- est” on adjectives that consist of one or du syllable ( eg : Short, Tall, etc.)
3. Add the next word "most" if the comparison is an adverb.

Example:
 He is the smastest boys in my class.
·        Ina is the most beautiful girls in my school.
·        Hani finished the test the most quicky.
